Look a Gourd, finally! This one may actually make it to become an actual gourd. I planted four varieties of gourds. I have lots of blossoms but haven't seen any tiny gourds yet.
Look for the tiny tiny gourds at the base of the female flowers. The flower in the foreground of the picture looks like it's a male.--Ellen
ReplyDeleteOk, cool now to figure out how to tell the difference between a male and female flower. Aside from the fruit at the base of the flower.
ReplyDeleteThe bees sure have been in love with the flowers. I love the musky smell the leaves are putting out.
