Desk Surface Found!
In the spirit of accomplishing one of this months goals, get the bookwork done, clear off my desk, and deep clean my office, I am a third of the way there. Found: One desk surface!!! I'll have to do is dust it and vacuum the walls and I'm ready to finish off the bookwork.
Yestday I worked on these three Corn pieces, they are still in progress.

WIP - What the Corn Knew
Acrylic on raised panel. Since I cannot show what I'm working on at the moment, for my Quilt National submission I'll show you what I painted this afternoon. This layer is currently drying, the next layer will be a glaze layer, and once that dries I'll be layering on more paint.

After, I'm liking this piece a lot with the additional stitching, not sure if ti's finished or not though.

Corn No. 52 (Eclipse) ~ It has been awhile since I've worked in the horizontal plane. Right now I'm taking a break from the sewing machine so I my eyes can relax a bit.
