Gearing Up for New Work

Bjorkboda hanging on the shelf on the far wall.

I compost dyed these about seven years or so ago, it's been so long now I don't remember when exactly.

Look familiar???  Yes I'm finally going to work with this piece, note it's in the header of this blog and one of the main photos in my books.

Yo-Yo's made from my natural dyed silk fabrics, I picked up the Jumbo Yo-Yo maker today and it's a very nice addtion to the sizes I had already.

Purple Bison

I started this piece several years ago, click here, I'll have to search the archives to find the first post on this piece. I found it in a drawer last night and decided it needed finishing!

Silk Cloth 3

This is my cochineal sack cloth, silk chiffon, I filled it with cochineal bugs and used it repeatedly to create red dyebaths over the span of two months. This is how the fabric looks untied.
