Prairie Potholes Harvest No. 23

I don't believe I've posted this one in the past, found it in a pile of work tonight while looking for a piece of indigo dyed rusted fabric, the fabric is still MIA.

Prairie Pothole No. 15

I was never happy with the way PP No. 15 & 14 looked hanging flat against the wall they just looked ackward like something was missing.

So while at Hobby Lobby today and saw that they sold pre-stretced 14x14 inch canvas'
So decided to purchase on to see how PP No. 15 would look stretched, needless to say the canvas is drying right now I painted it and I plan to stretch the quilt to the frame later tonight.

Oh Quilt Where are Thou?

Somewhere in this pile of fabrics is my new Prairie Pothole Series, to supplement my large selection of compost dyed, natural dyed, and rust dyed fabrics is a bag of natural dyed silk carrier rods dyed in rich vibrant red violets, deepest golden, mysterious purple and palest pink!

Prairie Potholes Mosaic

They are not in order which makes them look a little off and if I can figure out how to get the borders bigger between the pieces that'd be better yet still!

Prairie Potholes

I need to rephotograph the bottom six pieces, these are new additions to my Prairie Pothole Series I began in 2005. I have several more pieces I've started for this series sitting on my sewing table the edges need to be finished and then I"m off to start the other three pieces.
