Musings about what I do with my natural, compost, and rust dyed fabrics, ribbons, and fibers.
Wow, that IS cute!! I want that!! LOL! How fun would it be to alter it all up and make it colorful and fun. Such a neat shape. (I am not coveting the purse... I am not coveting the purse... I am... okay, maybe I am!) Why don't I ever find good finds like this??? Don't forget to show what you do with it!
I think the potential is more for at least a 25% markup in your next yard sale... VBG. Next best idea, a bright silk or taffeta lining, plaid would be neat, and with a very strong glue attach either lots of articicial flowers or if you aren't a flower person, gittery sequins and spangles but leaving the hinges and other fittings free to show and of course, operate.
Ooooooooo I love that idea! I'm a flower person, I made a handbag last year that is covered in silk flowers!I was thinking of decoupaging some floral images onto the surface, then I could glue silk flowers, sequins and spanges onto the surface. I really like the idea of a plaid silk taffeta lining, and maybe some glittery bejeweled items on the inside, with a bit of a book or something else that'd be a suprise.
