My latest postcard. Black does NOT scan well, it has a mottled look for which I'm not sure how to correct. I'm making a bunch of cards to sell at an Open Studio Tour this weekend, I was invited to participate in a group showing. I didn't sign up to be a solo artist on the tour this year, and with the way this year is going I'm glad I did not.

Thank you for reading my blog and leaving a comment, and therefore directing me here to this inspirational site. There are a few other bloggers right now who are doing fabric cards. If you're not aware of them, email me and I'll share some sites with you. I love that your kitty is named Barley too!
Oh my goodness! That swirly blue fabric looks just like the fabric for my sixth grade graduation dress. It was the first one I ever sewed. Elastic at the scoop neck and under the bust. Long wide sleeves and super short. I paid 25 cents a yard for the fabric and 79 cents for the pattern. The year??? - 1969.
