More watch parts, this time stop watches. The guy made a mistake when he started talking about the watch club! There's a club??? I'll have to get all of my female friends to go with me now. Somehow I'm starting to think I missed my calling in life, I'm not sure what the fascination with watches and clocks are but I have one. I guess I should have known this sooner, if you look around my house what do I collect? Clocks! An interesting collection for a person who doesn't wear a watch or cares about time.

Have you seen the 1949 short documentary by Handy Jam, "How a Watch Works"? It seems like something you would find interesting.

The movie is 18:40, not feasable to download or view without broadband. If you are on dial up let me know and I will mail it to you on CD. The movie is in the public domain so copyright is not an issue.
Have you ever thought about collaging? An alter including watch parts would make a very interesting collage. I'm reading a book right now about finding your path in life, and it says to really pay attention to what, uh, makes you tick (sorry, I had to say it). This means something somehow. A quilt that looks like a watch, maybe? It's fascinating though.
Also, a mosaic using watch parts! That could be amazing!
I bought a bunch of watch parts off ebay several months ago and have LOVED using them as embellishments. You're not alone!
